On Saturday, we had the last face-to-face Entrepreneurship and Innovation seminar of the Master in Project Management, the only PMI-GAC-accredited master program in Southeast Europe.
Together, we created a Business Model Canvas for Zara stores, analyzed the competition, and realized how crowded the fashion market is.
We talked about Amancio Ortega, founder of Zara, who was, for a few minutes, the wealthiest man on the planet.
We saw how complex such a business is, as well as the partners, activities, resources, customer relationships, value proposition, channels, revenues, costs, and customer segments.
We found out where the Red Dragon stands on the competitors’ maps, how much a ROLEX still costs, and what corporations in Romania are doing in terms of hashtag#CSR.
We discussed scenarios about the fast-fashion business model’s sustainability, which was a bit concerning.
Tomorrow, I will finish this semester’s courses at the National School of Political Studies and Public Administration [Scoala Nationala de Studii Politice si Administrative (SNSPA)], and we will start the exam session.
However, I will continue teaching in the hashtag#DoSocial project all January.
